Summer Math Challenge

Looking for a fun and free way to have your students or child work on math during the summer? Then look no further!

I have created a fun summer math challenge for middle school students. Included are 12 engaging challenges for students to complete. Challenge your students to do 3 in a row or the entire sheet. Maybe offer a prize for students who complete it!

Here are some examples of challenges included:

  • Record the high temperature for 7 days and find the mean.

  • Go outside and record a ratio that you see.

  • Research a career you are interested in and learn how math is used in that profession.

I also included a blank challenge page for students to record all the ways they see or use math in the summer.

I can’t wait for you to try this exciting and easy to use summer math challenge!
